Hello Launch Team,

As we prepare for Launch Sunday, which is a HUGE milestone in the life of Creekstone Church, I wanted to provide some lead pastor reflections.

1) We must be aware of our tendency to do life and ministry "in the flesh." So let's pray for a fresh understanding of our need for the Holy Spirit to empower our lives and ministries.

2) Creekstone would not be happening without you. Seriously. Church planting takes a team, and I am so grateful that the Lord has brought us together. Without your providential investment, Launch Sunday simply would not be taking place. I realize that you could be attending an established church with cushioned pews, but have given that up to "take chances, make mistakes, and get messy" for the sake of the gospel. Way to go!

3) We will never perfect anything, but we can always improve everything. Especially the preaching! This takes gospel humility and teachability (characteristics that do not come naturally to me). So let's look for ways to make improvements to every facet of the ministry.

FYI: A Creekstone Facebook Ad begins running tonight through Sunday- be looking for it. We should average about 76,000 impressions/views a day in a 50 mi. radius of Gainesville (for a total of almost 500,000 impressions this week). We have had ads in the Dahlonega Nugget for the past 3-4 weeks and will continue to run a weekly ad through Easter. As helpful as advertising can be for exposure, nothing can replace the power of the Holy Spirit. So let's pray for a fresh outpouring this Sunday as we prepare to gather for Creekstone's official launch!
