Listen to the Creekstone Worship Team

Check out the Creekstone worship team leading this past Sunday. This is a clip from the song In Christ Alone.

Elijah Merrett was lead vocal with Beth Minnear as female lead. I think Sharon Keane was on keys, Lauren Stephenson on bass with husband, Matt, on lead guitar. Peter Diamond was on drums. Did I leave anyone out? Anyway, I'm so grateful to have these folks lead us (and the rest of our band who were serving on the tech team or enjoying a week off)!

I Boast No More

Pastedgraphic

Here are the lyrics to a song that we will be singing again this Sunday at Creekstone, I Boast No More. Although the words were originally written by Isaac Watts, the tune has been updated and modernized by Sandra McCracken (Same Old Dress Music) and sung by Caedmon's Call. Listen on Grooveshark

No More My God, I boast no more
Of all the duties I have done
I quit the hopes I held before,
To trust the merits of Thy Son

No more my God
No more my God
No more my God
I boast no more

Now, for the loss I bear his name,
What was my gain I count my loss
My former pride I call my shame
And nail my glory to His cross

Yes, and I must, I will esteem
All things but loss for Jesus' sake
O may my soul be found in Him
And of His righteousness partake
Amen, amen

The best obedience of my hands
Dares not appear before Thy throne
But faith can answer Thy demands
By pleading what my Lord has done
