March 10, 2013 • The Contagious Church, Part 4: Interdependent Relationships/The Need for Community • Acts 2:46 (Revolution Series)

  1. Astonishing Commitments
  2. Ongoing Challenges
  3. Pressing Considerations
  • Is there any event that you just “hate to miss?” What is it about that event that is so compelling? What if a church were that way? Can you imagine Sunday mornings and K-Groups as events that you would “hate to miss?” What would they have to be like in order for them to be that compelling?
  • Have you ever battled with CFS (Christian Fatigue Syndrome)? Describe the experience? How did you recover?
  • What is exciting to you about small group ministry? What is frightening? Why do many “small groups” fizzle and not experience the relational depth that is possible in the gospel?
  • What cultural idolatries do you think get in the way of relational interdependency and a commitment to connectedness?
  • What steps can you take to become more committed to interpersonal connectedness?
