Dear Creekstone family,
This Sunday is going to be a bit unique as far as our Sunday gatherings go, as we are going to carve out about 15 minutes in the service for Doug Kittrell, Creekstone’s Finance Team Leader, to share the details concerning our present financial position and where we need to be in order to be fully-funded as a self-governing congregation.
In many ways, this is going to be a very personal, intimate moment for the Creekstone Church family that I believe has the potential not only to bring us together by strengthening our commitment to the mission, but also the potential to facilitate a depth of spiritual renewal of which many of us have hoped and prayed.
These are days filled with both challenge and opportunity. Where those two realities merge is often the place of what historians call revival. Some have called it a spiritual “tipping point.” Is this too much for which to ask or expect? Not at all! Remember Ephesians 3:20 tells us that God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine!” So, let’s ask and image and see God do immeasurably more, for his glory and our joy.
Wow. I can’t wait ’til Sunday!
And remember, if you have a question about particularization, feel free to submit it here.
