Communion as a Means of Grace

If baptism is the new covenant rite of inclusion in the new covenant community, then the Lord’s Supper is the ongoing rite of communion with God for the new covenant community.

Like going to the gym for the first time, partaking in this ancient rite can be awkward. What are we doing when we come forward? Why bread and a cup? How is taking the elements supposed to strengthen me spiritually? These are just some of the questions we discuss in this week’s Creekstone message.
