Sticky Church (Acts 2:42-47)

This is the next message in Creekstone’s study on the doctrine of the church, entitled People of the Promise. Today’s message is about what it takes for a church to be sticky, retaining those who visit the church. The goal is not numeric growth for size sake, but to help folks stick so that we have time to adequately invest in helping folks grow to spiritual maturity by coming more and more alive to the wonder of the gospel and allowing the implications of grace to shape their lives. This does not happen in a single event. Maturity is a process. It takes time. That is why we want people to stick. Thus, we want to be a sticky church.
