One last thought from Total Church that I hope will become part of the DNA for the Dahlonega Church Plant. They quote the “Imagine” report, saying, “[name your location] will never be reached until we create open, authentic, learning and praying communities that are focused on making whole-life disciples who live and share the Gospel wherever they relate to people in their daily lives.” Their commentary on that statement is so helpful and echoes my heart for our church plant. They say,
We need non-full-time leaders who can model whole-life, gospel-centered, missional living. It means thinking of our workplaces, homes, neighborhoods as the location of mission.
That is a dream that I believe will be realized in the Dahlonega area and at North Georgia College and State University.
