In the 400’s BC, Nehemiah was called to lead the rebuilding of the ruined wall of Jerusalem. A wall was critical in those days if a city were to be protected. What we will discover is that there were huge challenges, but the effort involved was worth it as the entire community focused all their resources and worked together to accomplish the goal. As we approach this study as a church, we are going to see some remarkably providential similarities between the rebuilding of the wall and the mission of Creekstone, not to mention the areas of our lives that desperately need to be rebuilt. I’m trusting God to do some exciting things among us by his grace and for his glory. Yes, I’m totally fired up about this fall together and can’t wait to launch into this study together in the context of a celebration of our Savior, Jesus. Hope to see you Sunday!
