The Latest Creekstone News

K-Groups meet again this Sunday evening, Nov. 27. For more info, go here

Operation Christmas Child • Remember to bring your OCC boxes to Creekstone this Sunday!

Free Gift Wrapping at Wal-Mart • We are putting together a service opportunity that will connect us with lots of folks in our community and bless them at the same time. The idea is to set up a free gift-wrapping station outside of Wal-Mart on Saturday, Dec. 17. The wrapping is free—a gift. Just like the gospel. By providing free gift wrapping, we hope to have the opportunity to share the gospel and invite folks to Creekstone for our main Christmas service the following day. Information will be forthcoming very soon!  By the way, we will need lots of volunteers for this effort, which coordinator, Rick Nielsen, says is a ton of fun.

Community Advent Service • I will be teaching on Tuesday, Dec. 6, for the Dahlonega Community Advent Luncheon Series at the Catholic Church in town off the square, and our worship team will be leading music. The service begins at noon with a lunch buffet following at 12:30 (through 1:00 p.m.). Creekstone is hosting the event that day and needs volunteers to help provide the meal. If you are able to assist with the meal (soup and sandwiches), please contact Andy Woznicki at

Christmas Eve Communion Service • We are planning a special, family Christmas Eve Service at the High School on Saturday, Dec. 24, at 5:0 p.m.  Since we are planning to give our nursery volunteers the week off for the Christmas Eve service, just plan to bring your little ones to the service. If they get fussy, you may take them to the cafeteria and listen to the service, which we will broadcast in the lobby.  NOTE: There will not be a service on Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25.

This week’s sermon will be on Romans 5:1-5, with the title, “The Anxiety Cure.”
