This Sunday, July 27th, we begin a “back-to-school” sermon series called The GRACE Awakening, which is designed to help us come more and more alive to the wonder of the gospel week after week. This Sunday, as we focus on Luke 18:9-14, we are going to discover implications about God’s grace in Jesus that have the potential to liberate us in huge ways from having to “jockey for position” or “climb the ladder,” whether in business, with peers at school, playing on a team, or in any other context. Since I’ll be working in the kitchen on sermon preparation all week, I trust that you will come hungry for a banquet of grace, with the person and work of Jesus as the glorious centerpiece. I do hope to see you Sunday!
